Eat, Sleep, Cultured

Updated: Sep 6, 2019

Afternoon love,

Lets just skim through my life so far. My family eat, sleeps, and is cultured. I come from a legacy of Kumu Hula's and hula dancers. My grandmother was the first and only "Miss Hula." My mother and her two sisters also "Miss Aloha Hula (MAH)'s." So I come from a very competitive and known family in this hula realm of Hawai'i. Started dancing when I was 2. Won my first keiki title in 2004 at the age of 9. My first merrie monarch (mm) was in 2009. Ran for MAH in 2014 and 2016. (sorry all MM videos are deleted off of YouTube for copyright reasons) I've been dancing all my life and continue to dance. We also practice other Polynesian cultures Samoan, Maori, and Tahitian. That's my entertainer life.

I am also a self employed entrepreneur. I have my own sewing and esthetics business. But, my newest venture is opening my own business selling hair products. Now let me tell you, you this line is too die for!!!! Like I needed this all my life and I finally found something that will keep my hair tamed. If you want more information, just comment or message me. Follow my IG also @__kiliou (double underscore) for information.

Man I wish I had started this blog sooner, like a year or two ago when all these big changes and stories happened in my life. I am pretty content where I am right now. Life as a Kumu's daughter is like living a double life I swear. In the real world I'm one person and in the Hula realm I'm someone else. Kinda like Hannah Montana without the disguising myself, like I'm the same person in both worlds just different view with different eyes. We'll save that for a different post.

If you wanna know something, give me a topic to write about, etc. Just drop a comment or something and let me know, I will be happy to answer ANYTHING for you!

hugsandhonis,

Kiliou
